For over 75yrs we have been serving Vancouver Schools keeping them clean, safe, and operating smoothly. We have much variety in our Union, firstly we take care of the school grounds which includes gardeners, grass cutting and leaf clean up crews, fence and sports equipment, playground technicians, drainage workers, and more. In addition, our work spans to even the buildings such as glazing, drapery and seamstress, floor layers, pest control, and assisting with the roofing. Our Union has auto mechanics who keep the Vancouver School Board’s fleet running, we also have truck drivers and delivery workers who transport and move everything throughout the district.
We play a vital part in the day to day operations and maintenance of the schools and we work to make sure students, teachers, and staff have an environment they can enjoy and be positive and productive. It is our honor to serve the district and the public and we work hard to make sure we are doing all we can. Our history dates back to 1950 when we chartered, and we hope to continue for many years to come.
